This 21-card oracle deck was inspired by an episode of The Twilight Zone television series, "Nick of Time," where William Shatner and his wife get stranded in a small town with a mechanical fortune-telling machine.
 
The design of the deck and the cards themselves are faithful to the Mystic Seer oracle seen on the show. The cards feature 21 fortunes which can answer any yes or no question. This oracle functions somewhat like the old Magic 8-Ball fortune telling toy.
 
The mini card format replicates the size of the cards as they appeared in the TV show episode, but it also emphasizes that the deck is intended for casual use.
